Beyond Modcloth: Like-to-Like Conversions

Time for me to put my money where my mouth is.

With Modcloth’s recent acquisition by Walmart, customers have taken to social media to show their displeasure/angst about this change.
I have been buying from Modcloth for years due to their more “body positive” styles and size ranges. It’s been easy to get unique clothing in the 1X+ size range, and was even worth the astronomical shipping and duties to Canada for occasional purchases.
However, with this change, I’m much less interested in continuing to purchase from Modcloth. But, I’d like to keep buying from the independent brands they bring in.
To that end, here is a list of some of the brands they carry that have separate online stores:
Cropped Cardigans: RedCreamBlackNavyTattoo PrintsNautical
Petticoats: Retroglam (Edmonton & online), Blame Betty (Calgary & online)
Retro/Pinup: Retroglam (Edmonton & online), Happy Yellow DressUnique Vintage
Shoes: Superga sneakers (has vegan options), Rocket Dog boots
Home Decor: Umbra
Tapestries: Check out Society6
Here are specific things from my wishlist (or my closet) that are available online at other shops:
Brelly of the Ball Cardigan: Unique Vintage
Time and Grace Lace Dress in Champagne: Cassie’s Closet
Bathing Beauty One-Piece Swimsuit in Navy Anchors: Esther Williams Swimsuits

Salt Water Leather Sandal: The Original Salt Water Sandal

Reading Room Romance Oxford Flat: Restricted Shoes
Have more plus-size friendly Modcloth Like-to-Like conversions to add? Please list in the comments and I’ll update the post!
